Completed in Chania, the first workshop of documentary development HISTORYDOC, New Platforms New Politics in cooperation with EDN and supported by the Media Program (1-3 July).
Following an intensive three-day work program, which included master classes, workshops in small groups and one to one meetings, the directors and producers presented in before of a board of experts , independent producers, distributors and representatives of television channels ,their improved final proposals.
In the weekend 4-5 July, all participants attended the Open Training Session of Documentary Campus and had the opportunity to meet with representatives of television channels (BBC, ARTE, ZDF, AMVRO, YLLE, SKAI, ERT) and pitched their proposals.
Organizers, trainers, participants renewed their next appointment as follows.
A) As of August 10 continued treatment through email conference calls for proposals.
B) In the September 1st deadline for submission of the improved proposals, to select those projects, which will take part in the DOC FESTIVAL in Sheffield.
